Newly released rapper Lil Wayne has been banned from consuming any alcohol for the next three years, which could ruin his planned prison release party. But this did not stop the rapper from tweeting a pic (above) of himself next to a glass of what looked like cognac a few hours after his release.
Probation documents obtained by TMZ state that the rap star “may not consume or drink any substance containing alcohol”, as long as he’s on probation.
However, according to other reports, Lil Wayne already has 48 bottles of expensive Champagne paid for at his prison release party at a Miami strip club.
Troubled rapper T.I. has officially checked into his prison cell to begin an 11-month stint for violating his federal probation stemming from a drug bust last September.
The entertainer, whose real name is Clifford Harris, Jr. and his wife, Tameka Cottle, were caught carting the goods–marijuana, ecstasy and codeine by the Los Angeles Police Department as they were making an illegal u-turn in their mega-dollar Maybach in West Hollywood.
Now it’s bars, yet again, for T.I.
The pleas of the 30-year-old who sought leniency from the federal courts fell on deaf ears. TMZ reports that T.I. has checked into a Forrest City, Arkansas federal prison, his old haunt, where he served seven months for a previous weapons charge back in 2009.
A prison spokesperson told TMZ that the hip-hop Grammy Award winner will go through all of the familiar motions — check-in, processing, cheesing for the cameras for a mugshot and finally, bunk assignment. As far as amenities, he will shower in a community stall, watch television in a general viewing room and be limited to 300 minutes per month for phone calls.
And speaking of culinary palate, T.I. has quite a few delectable prison dining options, including a savory offering called “creamed beef.” Feast your eyes on these palate pleasers:
Breakfast:
An Orange
Hot Oatmeal
Creamed Beef
Home Fried Potatoes
Biscuits or Wheat Bread
Skim Milk
Lunch:
Fried Fish or Baked Fish or PB&J
Mac and Cheese or Baked Potato or Peas
Corn Bread or Wheat Bread
Dessert or Fresh Apple
Dinner:
Chicken Patty or Chicken Salad or Grilled Cheese
Baked Potato or Navy Beans or Salad
Hamburger Bun or Wheat Bread
WTF??? Sounds more like a two stars restaurant menu than prison food!!!
The star of the hit film ‘Takers’ will also be fashionably attired in khakis, slacks and top, accented by black shoes.
Before he left his family, T.I. managed to send off a tweet farewell to his loyal fans on Saturday:
T.I.’s wife Tameka Cottle has been charged by the L.A. County District Attorney for possessing the drug ecstasy when the couple was arrested on Sunset Strip last month.
If convicted, Tameka could face up to a year behind bars.
According to reports, the D.A. has elected not to prosecute T.I. for charges stemming from the incident, noting that the rapper will already be serving time in Georgia for a probation violation stemming from the L.A. arrest.
Tameka Cottle is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Los Angeles on a misdemeanor drug charge — the same day her husband, rapper T.I., is due to turn himself in to start serving an 11-month sentence at an Arkansas prison.
Cottle’s arraignment and T.I.’s incarceration both stem from a Sept. 1 traffic stop in West Hollywood. Police arrested the Atlanta-based newlyweds on suspicion of drug possession but only Cottle was charged. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday it would not prosecute Clifford Harris Jr., the rapper’s birth name, despite finding four ecstasy tablets on him.
Grammy-winning rapper T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in prison on Friday for violating the terms of his probation. The 30–year-old hip-hop star was arrested in September on suspicion of possession of the drug Ecstasy.
T.I., whose real name is Calvin Harris, sought leniency in the case as prosecutors pushed for a two-year sentence, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I screwed up. I screwed up big time and I am sorry,” Harris said before U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell.
“I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.” Harris faced a potential 30 years in prison for federal gun charges in 2007 when he was arrested following the Black Entertainment Television awards. He paid a $100,000 fine and was sentenced to one year in prison after completing 1000 hours of community service while under house arrest.
On September 1, Harris was stopped for a traffic violation in Los Angeles by police, who discovered drugs in his car. According to Yates, Cortez Thomas, who was involved in the original federal gun charges against Harris, was also in the car at the time.
After his arrest Harris tested positive for opiates. He acknowledged on Friday that this was a violation of the terms of his probation.
Several character witnesses appeared in court this week on behalf of Harris, including a university professor who used his music to relate life lessons to her students, a member of Harris’ Narcotics Anonymous group, and an Atlanta police officer, James Polite, who explained how Harris recently persuaded an Atlanta man not to commit suicide.
Loui Fish the ex-wife of former Bafana Bafana player Mark Fish, was arrested for DUI in Sandton, last Tuesday.
The busty tv presenter was booked in around 7pm and was released later on a R1, 000 bail.
Loui and Mark fish who’s also known for hitting the bottle had a well publicized split last year after 9 years of marriage but the pair have managed to remain friends.
Talking about the incident, Loui Blamed her arrest on potholes instead of being under the influence….
Classic!!!
She would appear at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on September 2011.
the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released matching mugshots for trouble-prone hip-hopster T.I. and his wife — former R&B singer-turned-BET reality star Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.
The father of five and his wife of just a month were arrested Wednesday night. during a traffic stop in West Hollywood, Calif. on Sunset Blvd. Officers claimed they “smelled a strong odor of marijuana” coming from the rapper’s car and under further investigation turned up methamphetamines and a substance identified as a “type of ecstasy.”
T.I., 29, and Tiny, 36, were booked on felony possession of a controlled substance. The couple was later released on $10,000 bond.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office say they are currently waiting for the results of the Sheriff’s Department investigation before deciding how to proceed. Whatever California authorities decide, T.I. is facing a mahjuh legal backlash. The Grammy-winner — a former crack dealer — is currently on three years probation, which began in March 2010. He previously served seven months in prison and three months in a halfway house for federal weapons charges.
Lil Wayne’s remains incarcerated in New York City’s notorious Rikers Island — where women everywhere will be safe from his super-Sperminating capabilities. The “Lollipop” hitmaker, who is currently serving a year-long prison sentence, has long been criticized for fathering four children with four different women — with his last three children born within just months of one another.
Wayne, however, insists he’s involved in raising all of his children, which includes a pair of sons with actress Lauren London and singer Nivea.
“I’m not on child support with none of my kids because I’m a great father. So it’s (good parenting) not determined by how much money you’re paying at all. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about being there and being that important person in their lives,” Wayne said, speaking to Ozone Magazine before his incarceration.
umm??? Okay!!!
