It’s a good thing Brandy is dusting off her freestyle skills, because it looks like the 30-year-old singer’s career in R&B is on its last leg.

The Grammy Award-winning singer was recently dropped from the roster at Epic Records after her long-awaited comeback album, Human, failed to make an impressive impact on the charts.

“Her friend Brandon Creed that works as an A&R representative at Epic Records has been making calls to see if other labels would be interested in signing her…”

Human, released last December, has only sold 196,509 units to date according to SoundScan.

It’s a pity ppl don’t recognise good talent nowadays, Brandy last album is a masterpiece!!!

Brandy has agreed to pay $300,000 in compensation to the two children of the woman killed in her 2006 car crash.

Awatef Aboudihaj died after her car collided with Brandy’s Range Rover on the Los Angeles Freeway three years ago. The Grammy Award-winning singer avoided criminal charges, but was sued by Aboudihaj’s widower Marouane Hdidou and their two children.

In February, Hdidou turned down a $1.2 million to settle his suit with Brandy, despite his attorney’s pleas to take the money.
