Über-talented designer David Tlale is expanding his successful brand with a shoe collection!
He is currently preparing to launch his signature shoe collection in partnership with global shoe brand Luella this summer.
The first hints of the partnership were seen on the Arise Cape Town Fashion Week catwalk in August where Tlale debuted his shoe collection along with his spring/summer 2009/10 clothing collection.
The Limited Edition David Tlale Collection from Luella will hit stores next month and will feature a variety of shoes like gladiator sandals and cage leather platforms to bejewelled satin peep-toes.
Those who’ve had a glimpse of the six styles in the range are already raving about it, including Metro FM DJ Unathi Nkayi. “I just love the fact that he’s catered for all women, and shoes are everything to a woman,” says Nkayi.
