“Live” co-presenter Sizwe Dhlomo broke the news last week on twitter that he was leaving the show to focus on other things, but word on the street is the producers of “Live” have decided no to renew his contract.
According to our sources within SABC 1, Live’s producers informed Sizwe last month that they would not renew his contract for the next season, and agreed with him that he could hand over his resignation.
Sizwe was bragging last year on twitter that ever since he joined the show, ratings and market share were better than ever but we hear the producers felt he was completely overshadowed by his two co-hosts Bonang Matheba and Minnie Dlamini, the real reason Live is so popular is because of the two fierce ladies, people tune in to see what they are wearing ,and rumors of rivalry between has also boosted the show immensely.They felt Sizwe wasn’t bringing anything substantial to the show!!!
We have always questioned Sizwe’s presenting skills, so we are not surprised SABC decided to get rid of him!!!
At least he still got his YFM gig and Scooter pizza business to focus on.

I really do agree, SABC took their time to smell the coffee I must say. Sizwe has been on their screens for years on end now, and its only now they decide to let him go, talk about poor service delivery. We have gotten used to his apparent sex-appeal and poor presenting skills and now they want to can him??? There is more behind their reasons than his not so good presenting skills I believe.
sizwe is so hot, he is just being himself,so think we need a Jucy mag to replace HIM,you will lose audience and fans.you like bonang and minnie because you are a guy,we girls we like sizwe

I’m very sad 2 hear ths.Sizwe was great on the Live show & he has got the talent,bt my advice is that he must nt complain maybe something bigger than the Live show is coming his way.God wil be by his side!

im 1of da people who tune in to see what da 2ladies are wearing. cnt say Sizwe isnt a gud presenta tho, LIVE has jus lost its touch. PERIOD!
I’m also 1 one of the gals who tune in 2 c wat Bonang is wearing, her powerful voice and Minnie is just ok but Sizwe he is a total bore. He is handsome n all that but I feel that he is too dull for live nd havn Bonang presenting wit him nahhh.. He needs the vavavooom!!
i think live had to let go, i really thnk sizwe nd minnie r 2 much ova themself’s bt i do agree that sizwe is hoooot n he was 1 of the reason i watched live bt he jst does not fit..sorry sizwe
Mara y they fired Sizwe i like that guy very much they should give him a chance. Bonang is really great presenter i love live show because of her and Sizwe plz bring back the hunk to our faces
