Attention-Seeker Lady Gaga has once again raised eyebrows by wearing an outfit made of raw meat to the MTV Video Music Awards. The 24-year-old ‘Bad Romance’ singer wore a dress, boots, hat and purse made of animal flesh as she collected one of eight gongs on stage in Los Angeles.
The beef-clad pop queen linked her latest bizarre ensemble to a battle for civil rights – insisting: “I am not a piece of meat,” reports the Sun. She claimed it was tied in with a protest against the US military”s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, which stops gays admitting their sexuality.
Insisting she did not mean to upset vegetarians, she said: “If we don’t stand up for what we believe in and fight for our rights pretty soon, we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones. And I am not a piece of meat.”
Disgusting!!!!
Lady Gaga is set to launch her first perfume.
The Poker Face songstress — who took home a whopping eight gongs at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards — has inked a deal to develop her very own sexy scent!
The first fragrance — which currently has no name — is expected to launch in spring 2012 (hopefully she’ll still be relevant by then!!!).
Jennifer Lopez has a lot of reasons to smile this days. More like 12 million reasons.
On Monday, Hollywood insiders dished that the notorious diva has sealed a $12 million(R85 million) to join Randy Jackson and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler at the judges’ table when American Idol premieres its 10th season in January. The move comes as A.I. producers revamp the series following the departures of judges Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres, and Kara DioGuardi. Lopez wanted $15 million for her new judging duties, and a network development deal that would have also included a FOX movie. Instead, she wound up settling for the 12 million smacks in a deal that was sealed at the end of July. One of her bargaining chips was that Simon wanted her to be a judge on his upcoming X-Factor show, set to debut next fall.
Tinseltown informant Nikki Finke writes of the deal: “It was her manager Benny Medina (whom she once fired) who first orchestrated the meeting with the Idol producers in June, and, by the end of July, J-Lo accepted the offer to be a new Idol judge. Since then, she, Medina and her producing partner Simon Fields have been trying to milk the gig for all they could get from the movie studio and broadcast network/television programmer to further her stalled career in the film/TV area…..Among JLo’s demands, ‘She was angling for an overall deal at Fox, including a put picture, to keep the movie career going. But Fox said no,” one insider tells me. “In the old days, these were called a ‘vanity deal’ for good reason. They simply don’t exist today. Will Smith doesn’t have put pictures.’”

Always flashy, the hip-hop star was introduced by comedian and friend Aziz Ansari before strutting out to a podium in a blindingly bright red suit with a black t-shirt.
As for his performance, West debuted a brand new single from his upcoming album Power titled “Runaway”.
Not the most suitable song for the youngsters, Kanye delved into the lyrics to the crowd’s delight, as he sang out: “You’ve been putting up with my s**t for way too long…/ Let’s have a toast for the douchebags/Let’s have a toast for the a**holes…/Baby, I’ve got a plan/Run away as fast as you can.”
The “U Remind Me” singer opened his performance with “DJ Got Us Fallin in Love” and followed it with “OMG.”
But the singing almost took a backseat to Usher’s unparalleled dance moves, beginning with his multi-tiered set and ending on the massive circular-lit Nokia Theatre stage.
Clad in a black hoodie and baggy trousers, the “Real Slim Shady” rapper began in what looked like a small backstage club.
But once he made his way out onto the main stage, Em was joined by Rihanna who sang a duet of their number one song “Love the Way You Lie.”
Eminem and Ri-Ri both played off of each other like the seasoned pros they are, much to the delight of the jam-packed crowd.
