Beyonce Knowles falls asleep when she’s had too much to drink.
The Single Ladies hitmaker – who is married to rapper Jay-Z – says she enjoys the odd glass of wine, but insists she is a boring drunk.
“Well, I don’t drink often,” she tells Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine. “But when I’m drunk, I’m very quiet and I observe and I go to sleep. I don’t think I’m much fun.
“Sometimes I’ll dance, but I feel like at a party everyone expects me to be [alter-ego] Sasha and go out there and run the dance floor.”
The star, 27, also adamant she has never – and will never – take drugs.
“I always said I would never do it,” she said. “I’ve never seen a person who was high and thought, ‘Wow, I want to do that!’ I’m like, ‘That’s cool for them, but no thank you. I’ll just have my wine.’”
