Rapper Eminem was under the radar for a minute, but is back on the scene and set to release his forthcoming “highly secretive” album. Label mate 50 Cent revealed on yesterday, that the Detroit MC was hard at work on his sixth solo LP.

Rumored to be titled King Mathers, 50 explained in reports that Eminem will commence with the project’s media campaign in the next few months,  according to AllHipHop.com.

“You’ll be seeing him shortly. He’s working,” 50 told U.K.’s ITN News during a red carpet interview. “Even though he tries to relax and stay home, it’s impossible for him to stay in.”

Fans expected the album’s release earlier this year after Dr. Dre disclosed to the Los Angeles Times in September 2007, that he was devoting two months exclusively to Eminem’s project.

Also increasing fan interest was T.I. revealing he worked with Em on a highly creative track pitting the alter egos Slim Shady and T.I.P. against each other.

However the biggest news was the Detroit superstar’s first collaboration with legendary boardsmith DJ Premier, who in April confirmed completion of a track entitled “Keys to the City.”

Unfortunately, according to 50 all these songs may never see the light of day due to Eminem’s perfectionist ways.

“A lot of material he wrote prior to this is being scrapped,” 50 admitted. “He’s got to feel like it’s just happened, it’s new and it’s current. That’s just how he is creatively as an artist.”

To date, the only confirmed guest for Eminem’s still officially untitled sixth album is 50 Cent.

The album is still tentatively planned for release by December 2008.

just woke up from a quick studio nap… I’ve been workin’ on 808s and Heartbreak about 16 hrs a day and Superman passed out for a little bit… I’m in hawaii but I’m still on NY time so I wake up mad early, do some business, blog, jog for an hour, play ball, eat and then hit the stu by noon. While approving the final cut for the Love Lockdown vid, I marvel at the fact that it was written less than 3 weeks ago. I’m very excited about the everything… I guarantee this will be 50’s favorite album of mine. This will be gangster’s album of the year.

Wonder how 50 is gonna respond….

Jennifer Hudson is engaged to boyfriend, David Otunga, aka Punk from reality show “I Love New York”:

Otunga, who is known as “Punk” from the reality show I Love New York 2, popped the question with a Neil Lane diamond ring on the Dreamgirls Oscar winner’s 27th birthday. The couple, who have been dating less than a year, both hail from Chicago. Professionally, it is a busy time for Hudson as well. Her debut solo album, Jennifer Hudson, will be in stores Sept. 30, and her next film, The Secret Life of Bees opens on Oct. 17.

Congrats to them !!!! Let’s hope they’ll make it to the altar..
